Lion Nicky Robinson
Nicky’s other achievements include being awarded a Melvyn Jones, in 2009, before she was a Lion, for looking after the Ladies at the Cabinet meetings.
Nicky’s help on the welfare side is knitting lots of baby hats for Basildon Maternity Hospital and Poppies for Remembrance Day – that is why she is called’ Nicky the Knitter’!! These day s Nicky helps with the local food banks and also her local Lions Club of Clacton on sea.
Nicky’s current ‘hobby’ is being a Member of Clacton Carnival Association since 1977 and a Director for several years.
Nicky being given her 10 year chevron by VDG Colin Talbot at home last week. A great honour to receive if from VDG Colin as he is a member of the Clacton Lions Club.
